Your classic ban era Chicom AK. Yes, the threads are turned off, Yes, the receiver is slant cut. Despite this, somebody has made some custom furniture for it, that matches up with the slant cut receiver. It's a bit unique looking, but certainly significantly better than the factory butthole furniture. Inside it's still a classic Type 56, but significantly cheaper than a proper pre-ban 56S.
